Revue of RAMPAGE

Rampage stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Davis Okoye, a Primatologist who adopts George an albino Gorilla whom he saved from poachers. However, when George is exposed to a pathogen from a rogue experiment that makes him increase in size with heightened aggression, Okoye tries to save George while battling a monstrous wolf and Crocodile who are also results of the rogue experiment.

Rampage is the one of the most juvenile and ridiculous films you will see and for these reasons I loved it! You know that film that is so bad that you can’t help but like it? well, Rampage is such a film because the plot could have as well been written by a Primary 4 student. Rampage was so immature, improbable and ridiculous, but the funny thing is that the immaturity will appeal to you because it was full of cheesy and clichéd lines but you can’t help but just give in to its incredulity and have a rollicking good time.

Ignoring the immature plot of the film, Rampage had really awesome CGI of some spectacular and fantastic beasts that could only have been conceived by a person with childlike imagination. They were a sight to behold (especially in IMAX) and were in my honest opinion, the highlight of the whole film. Although I also liked the banter between George and The Rock which I found humorous.

It seems everything The Rock touches turns to gold and Rampage is another golden outing for the ex-wrestler. I must warn you though that if you are going to see Rampage, don’t expect to see deep scientific stuff or a credible plot, but just go for a good time.  Please hit me up in the comment section below or on social media (Twitter and Facebook ) and let me know what you think of Rampage.

Please let me use this opportunity to thank you for always dropping in on my page, it means a lot to me. I hope to do some giveaways soon to reward your loyalty.

Have a great week.
