Avengers Infinity Wars features Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers who unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

Everything has led up to this! The last stand between the heroes of the Marvel universe pitched against their biggest foe in the person of Thanos and believe me when I say it was epic! I am willing to stick out my neck to say that it’s the most audacious and courageous Marvel project yet. This is because they took a risk shooting a film that features all the beloved Marvel characters all jostling for screen time. Its hard enough coming up with a plot that involves all the heroes but ensuring that they don’t outshine each was another aspect that Marvel performed remarkably.

The film started with a bang without introductions, no comedy, no shenanigans just outright genocide. Avengers Infinity Wars continues at this pace and doesn’t let off till the end. This is the first Marvel film that ends and the audience just sits there wondering, what the hell just happened. I enjoyed the look of astonishment on people’s faces as the film ended because they weren’t sure of what to make of what just happened. They weren’t sure if they were happy, sad, but just looked white faced and out of breath. Believe me when I say, you won’t see that end coming.

Also, Avengers Infinity Wars is unlike any Marvel film before because the producers took the risk of downplaying all the comedy that characterizes their films and focused on the task at hand which is obtaining the infinity stones and dominating the world. They even managed to put some emotion into it, but they just slipped it in without making it look cheesy. Please allow me to say that Thanos is the coolest villain you will see in a while. he had purpose and focused on his “noble cause” and didn’t believe in gra-gra but went about his business with precision while swatting the Avengers like flies.

The enjoyment of this film is anchored on the plot of the film being kept away from audiences so please, if you see anyone trying to tell you spoilers, ensure you give them a High five on the face…with a shovel. I also will not drop any spoilers but one thing I can tell you is that, ALL your guesses as to the location of the Soul Stone couldn’t be farther from the truth. A lot of questions were answered and even more questions were thrown up. And if you are a JJC and decide to leave the cinema before the credits finished, you are on your own o!

I am definitely going back for a second helping of Avengers Infinity War, but I am curious to hear what you think so hit me on social media (Twitter and Facebook ) and let me know what you think of Avengers Infinity War.

Thanks for always dropping in on my blog, I truly appreciate it.

Be awesome!
